In the motorway abuse case, the accused confessed to the horrific details of the incident

LAHORE: Several days later, a major development has come to light in the motorway abuse case. Yesterday, police arrested another accused Shafqat Ali Lu on the identification of already arrested accused Waqar Al-Hassan. Shafqat Ali is 23 years old and the main accused is Abid. Ali is a close associate. Police had arrested Shafqat Ali from Depalpur yesterday.

The accused has confessed to raping the woman in front of the police. Police said that he is a resident of Haroonabad tehsil of Bahawalnagar district. He has been associated with various gangs in Punjab. Shafqat Ali and his family have been involved in crimes before. Accused Shafqat Ali along with Abid committed 11 incidents. Accused Shafqat Ali in his confessional crime given to the police said that Abid and I had robbed on the motorway together.

Abid Ali, the main accused in the incident, is my accomplice in the crimes. First we robbed, then the woman was raped. Police further said that Shafqat Ali has also been a habitual offender and has committed such crimes in the past as well. It may be mentioned that the police had arrested 23-year-old Shafqat from Depalpur last night on the identification of the nominated accused Waqarul Hassan. Shafqat is a resident of Haroonabad Tehsil, Bahawalnagar.

Accused Shafqat's DNA has also been matched. During the police investigation, Shafqat confessed to raping the woman. Police have also arrested Saleh Abbas of Waqarul Hassan. Waqar al-Hassan's SIM used by Abbas was running. Waqar al-Hassan's mother said that her son owns a motorcycle repair shop in Qila Sattar Shah. Waqar has four daughters and two sons. I appeal to the government to provide justice to my son.
