LAHORE: Accused Shafqat arrested in Motorway rape case has confessed to raping a woman. Accused Shafqat was arrested from Depalpur. Accused Shafqat was arrested on the indication of Waqarul Hassan. According to details, significant progress has been made in the case of rape on the motorway. Police arrested 23-year-old Shafqat from Depalpur last night on the identification of named accused Waqarul Hassan.

Shafqat is a resident of Haroonabad Tehsil, Bahawalnagar. Accused Shafqat's DNA has also matched. During the police investigation, Shafqat confessed to raping the woman. Police have also arrested Saleh Abbas of Waqarul Hassan. Waqar al-Hassan's SIM used by Abbas was running.

Waqar al-Hassan's mother said that her son owns a motorcycle repair shop in Qila Sattar Shah. Waqar has four daughters and two sons.

I appeal to the government to provide justice to my son. On the other hand, it is learned that the victim in the motorway abuse case denied the identity of the accused Waqarul Hassan. According to media sources, footage of accused Waqarul Hassan was sent to the victim in the motorway rape case through WhatsApp. However, the woman denied the identity of the accused and said that Waqarul Hassan was not involved in the incident.

Earlier, Waqarul Hassan Shah, an accused in a motorway abuse case, appeared at the police station. According to media sources, accused Waqarul Hassan Shah appeared at the CIA Model Town police station but refused to plead guilty. It was reported that the accused Waqarul Hassan Shah said in his statement that he did not commit any crime.

According to police, the accused Waqarul Hassan Shah belongs to Qila Sattar Shah area of   Sheikhupura. It should be noted that the main accused in the motorway rape case is Abid Ali while the other accused was identified as Waqarul Hassan Shah who is a resident of Changa Manga. The accused identified earlier is Abid Ali and the other accused Waqarul Hassan Shah are both friends and live together.
