ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's request for exemption from attendance. The court has also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Nawaz Sharif. Arrest warrants have been issued till September 22. According to media reports, the Islamabad High Court heard a petition seeking exemption from the attendance of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The court has given a short verdict. The court in its judgment rejected Nawaz Sharif's plea for exemption from attendance and also issued non-bailable arrest warrants. Arrest warrants have been issued by the court till September 22. During the hearing, the court said that the court has not yet declared Nawaz Sharif a fugitive.

Additional Prosecutor General NAB Jahanzeb Bharwana said that the court has provided an opportunity to surrender.
