 It may be recalled that former Supreme Court Judge Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar as Independent Adjudicator will hear the appeal filed by Umar Akmal on Monday, July 13 at the National High Performance Center, Lahore.

Notices have been issued to both the parties, PCB and Umar Akmal in this regard.

Earlier, the Independent Adjudicator had postponed the scheduled hearing on June 11 due to lockdown due to corona virus. On April 27, Justice (Retd) Fazal Miran Chauhan, as chairman of the disciplinary panel, had on two separate occasions banned Umar Akmal for three years for violating Section 2.4.4 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code. The PCB will not comment further on the matter until a decision is taken by Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar.
